Operated by the Mayflower Council, Scouting America, Camp Squanto and Real Adventure Day Camp together form the cornerstone of our council’s summer experiences—offering youth of all ages a pathway to discovery, confidence, and adventure.
Camp Squanto, located in the heart of Myles Standish State Forest on the shores of Fawn Pond, delivers a premier Scouts BSA Resident Camp experience that blends time-honored tradition with modern innovation. For over 100 years, Scouts have come to Squanto to master outdoor skills, earn merit badges, and build leadership through challenges on the water, trails, and ranges. With a dedicated, well-trained staff and a strong spirit of community, Camp Squanto continues to embody the legacy that “The Spirit Lives On.” 
Real Adventure Day Camp, hosted at Camp Resolute in Bolton, Massachusetts, introduces younger campers to the excitement of Scouting in a fun, age-appropriate setting. Each week’s themed adventures spark creativity and teamwork while campers explore the outdoors, swim, shoot BBs and archery, and dive into hands-on projects that build character and curiosity.
Together, Camp Squanto and Real Adventure Day Camp deliver unforgettable summers filled with friendship, growth, and genuine adventure—empowering every Scout to discover their potential and create memories that last a lifetime.
Company History
Camp Squanto and Real Adventure Day Camp are operated by the Mayflower Council, Scouting America, serving 61 communities across eastern Massachusetts. Together, these camps offer youth of all ages opportunities to build confidence, character, and leadership through hands-on adventure in the outdoors.
With both camps celebrating over a century of tradition, Mayflower Council’s camps continue to deliver experiences that inspire lifelong learning, leadership, and the spirit of adventure.
