Company Overview
The Hospital of Central Connecticut is a 414-bed community teaching hospital located in scenic central Connecticut and a teaching affiliate of the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine. Although we recently affiliated with Hartford HealthCare to form the largest health care system in Connecticut, the Divisions of Gynecology Oncology had already fully merged to create larger and more robust programs in robotic surgery radical surgery, drug development, molecular genetics and GOG protocols.
Our current programs in gynecologic chemotherapy, radical surgery,
robotic surgery, and family genetic counseling are by far
the largest programs of their kind in the region.

Company History
For more than 100 years, The Hospital of Central Connecticut has been providing the highest quality of care to communities in central Connecticut. Our recent affiliation with Hartford HealthCare, the largest health care system in the state, has strengthened and improved our ability to offer a comprehensive array of medical services, cutting edge technology, and superior clinical quality and outcomes. We have a strong commitment to education and research. Affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, we provide residency and fellowship programs in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Endocrine, Pulmonary/Intensivist, GI, ENT, and OB/GYN. We are widely recognized for our Metabolic Institute, Joslin Diabetes Center, Sleep Disorders Center, Cancer Center, certified Stroke Center, Breast Center, cardiac care and bariatric surgery. We perform research in GYN/Oncology, behavioral health, and endocrinology.
