Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Infection Control RN to join our healthcare team in Poplar, Montana. The ideal candidate will develop, implement, and monitor infection prevention and control programs to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
\n

• Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
\n
• Conduct regular infection surveillance, monitor infection trends, and report findings to management.
\n
• Educate healthcare staff, patients, and families on infection prevention protocols and best practices.
\n
• Investigate and respond to infection outbreaks or unusual infection occurrences.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, laboratory staff, and public health officials to manage infection-related issues.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of infection control activities, including audits, reports, and training documentation.
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention.
\n

Qualifications:
\n

\n
• Current Montana RN licensure.
\n
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
\n
• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in infection control or hospital/clinical settings.
\n
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention, microbiology, and epidemiology principles.
\n
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
\n

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in rural or community healthcare settings.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and reporting systems.
\n
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.

Rate: USD $120,000 to $160,000

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Registered Nurse California state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
• One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified
