Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, has as excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in Norwalk, Connecticut. The Ambulatory office RN Manager will provide support to the Endocrinology department following a Monday-Friday office schedule varying from 8:30am-5:00pm with some phone call. Norwalk is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned registered nurse with a strong background in leadership and hold an RN Connecticut license. The position includes collaboration with the Endocrinology team side by side to ensure appropriate patient follow up and will oversee the clinical staff which includes LPN’s and medical assistants. This role will also work closely with the practice coordinator, AVP, and clerical staff. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages all clinical and clerical staff. Performs audits to ensure quality metrics and compliance.
  • Provides patient and family education on how to perform physician recommended care, take prescribed medication, prepare for tests or procedures, and monitor treatment progress.  
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
    Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • The qualified candidate will have a RN Connecticut License
  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 3 year of job-related experience
  • Previous medical office experience with endocrine medicine preferred
