Join a collaborative pediatric care team serving families across the Holly Springs and West Cary clinic locations. This Float Nurse opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of clinical tasks and the ability to work across multiple providers and specialties. We are hiring for both RN and LPN positions at Levels I and II. Travel between sites is expected.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Level I
\n
Key Responsibilities:
\n

- Deliver direct pediatric nursing care under provider direction. \n
- Manage clinic workflow to ensure timely and accurate patient services. \n
- Perform standard lab testing and documentation tasks. \n
- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans using evidence-based guidelines. \n
- Support other nurses, medical assistants, and unlicensed personnel. \n
Requirements:

- RN license in North Carolina \n
- High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant healthcare coursework preferred \n
- Current BCLS certification \n
- Strong team orientation and problem-solving skills \n
Registered Nurse (RN) - Level II
\n
Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a clinical leader supporting providers and team members. \n
- Take initiative in managing complex patient needs independently. \n
- Perform advanced telephone triage, referrals, and care coordination activities. \n
- Provide mentorship and skill sign-offs for new and existing nursing staff. \n
- Function as a primary resource for emergent care response. \n
Requirements:

- Demonstrated Level I performance over 6-12 months \n
- Current BCLS certification \n
- Proficient in managing acute and chronic pediatric condition \n
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Level I

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide hands-on patient care under the guidance of RNs and providers. \n
- Conduct basic assessments and document patient visits with accuracy. \n
- Support clinic flow through appointment scheduling and telephone triage. \n
- Perform routine lab tasks including capillary and heel sticks, and kit-based testing. \n
- Participate in basic care coordination, follow-up calls, and documentation. \n
Requirements:

- Familiarity with pediatric care preferred \n
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Level II

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle more complex patient needs with independence and clinical judgment. \n
- Act as a peer mentor, resource, and lead for other nursing staff. \n
- Independently manage telephone triage and documentation from start to finish. \n
- Execute advanced lab procedures (venipuncture, catherizations, cultures). \n
- Support provider care plans and participate in care coordination initiatives. \n

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered Registered Nurse North Carolina state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited Registered Nurse program
- One year of work experience as Registered Nurse
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
