Division Directors are members of Camp Lohikan's senior staff. Senior staff members are typically child care professionals, e.g., teachers, coaches. Senior staff members are provided private housing. Children of senior staff members are accepted into camp TUITION FREE.
SUMMER SEASON: June 22nd through August 22nd
Part Season (4 weeks) Employment Opportunities are also available.

PRE and POST CAMP WORK AVAILABLE. Pre-Camp Option: May 1-June 22. Post-Camp Option: August 29 - Sept. 30+
Additional employment is available BEFORE and AFTER the summer camp season. Applications for year-round internships are also accepted.

CAMP LOHIKAN in the Pocono Mts.
Camp Lohikan is a coed summer camp located in the northeastern Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania in the village of Lake Como. Our campers range in age from 6 to 15 and come to camp from all over the world. So does our staff!

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be college graduates. Typically, members of Camp Lohikan's senior staff are childcare professionals, e.g., teachers, and coaches.
- Ability to communicate and work with camp-age children and college-age staff.
- Ability to provide warm, mature guidance is a must.
- Ability to act as the camp's liaison with parents of campers assigned to the division.
- Ability to observe camper and staff behavior, assess its appropriateness, enforce appropriate safety regulations, implement emergency procedures, and apply appropriate behavior management techniques.
- Experience in conflict resolution. Ability to resolve conflicts quickly.
- Applicants must be individuals with high moral character and a strong work ethic. Working in camp and counseling children is hard work! We expect our staff members to be excellent role models for our campers.

Some jobs are highly skilled positions (e.g., Waterfront Director, Gymnastics Coach, Athletic Director, Circus Program Director, etc.), others require child care experience (e.g., general cabin counselor, group leader), and then there are jobs where you will receive all of the necessary training at camp, e.g., attendance supervisor. CAMP LOHIKAN'S FACILITIES
Camp Lohikan's facilities are among the most extensive in camping! They include 1200 acres, a private lake (50+ boats), heated swimming pool, 11 tennis courts w/lights, 30 horse stable on-premises (w/ indoor and outdoor riding rings!), indoor and outdoor basketball courts, 4 regulation sports fields, performing arts center w/amphitheater, music recording studio, air-conditioned dance studio, creative arts center w/14 workshops, gymnastics center (fully equipped plus bungee trampoline), huge indoor roller hockey rink, over 40,000 square feet of indoor activity facilities, 7 miles of trails for horseback riding, hiking & ATV's(4 wheelers), complete circus program, indoor and outdoor flying trapeze rigs, adventure program site w/35' climbing tower, 40' real rock climbing site (on camp!), 2 zip lines, high & low ropes course, huge skate park, radio broadcasting studio, modern cabins w/bathrooms and individual showers and lots more! In addition to college-enrolled cabin counselors and activity instructors, we are searching for teachers, coaches, and child care professionals to assume a number of supervisory positions: head instructors for our 65+ daily activities, horseback riding director, tennis director, pool director, lifeguard trainer, lake director, intercamp games director, evening program director, special events director, group leaders for each of our 8 camper divisions, head counselors, transportation staff, nurses, doctors, office staff, attendance staff, maintenance staff, 1st & 2nd cooks and food service staff.
