ASC Administrator
Are you a dynamic and experienced healthcare leader passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and operational excellence in an orthopedic setting? We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Administrator to lead our state-of-the-art orthopedic Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
Key Responsibilities:
As the ASC Administrator, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of the facility, focusing on clinical quality, financial health, and regulatory compliance.
Clinical & Quality Oversight: Direct, monitor, and evaluate all activities to ensure the provision of professional medical and nursing care for every patient. Provide direction for the evaluation of all facility programs and committee activities, including Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Safety, and Infection Control.
Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and audit entity-specific policies and procedures. Develop and monitor guidelines and standards for assuring compliance with state licensure, CMS, federal regulations (OSHA, CLIA, etc.), and accreditation (e.g., AAAHC).
Operational & Financial Management: Implement established financial, administrative, and personnel policies and procedures. Monitor and review appropriate scheduling and staffing activities to ensure quality services and cost efficiencies. Demonstrate a track record of managing personnel and fiscal resources without compromising patient satisfaction.
Staff Leadership & Development: Oversee all aspects related to staffing, including performance management, mentorship, recruitment, training, retraining, and credentialing.
Strategic Execution: Translate the facility's strategic plan into effective operational policy.
Administrative Duties: Perform other administrative duties as delegated or assigned by the Governing Body and Senior Leadership.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required. A Master’s in Healthcare or Business is preferred.
License: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
Experience:
8-10 years of professional work experience in Healthcare.
5 years of progressive healthcare management experience, ideally in an ASC setting.
Orthopedic experience is a strong plus.
Leadership & Skills:
Proven ability to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate activities of clinical and business operations.
Strong knowledge of surgical workflow.
Expert verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with all levels, from C-Suite to staff.
Strong knowledge of state, regulatory, CMS, and AAAHC accrediting requirements.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
